Jim…
Jim…
Jam…
Ok, I just want to let you know we didn't get any of that.
No, I'm just kidding
He he.
Ha ha ha.
Um, yes.
Hey man,
Watch it, you!
They've got your back
They saw that
You're not alone
Bring it all down for now
Oh bring it
Bring it to an end
They know always
They're all I fear
You'll be always lost
They just…
They said that I was a little
Inebriated
Inebriated
You have perpetuated
Inebriated
You have created
Inebriated
Now, now
Interrogated
You are inebriated!
You have created it all
I am negated
You were perpetuated
And then you find out
Come on, now!
Oh you'll be hated
Do what we do

Eyes wide open eating a passing stretch of tar
If only I'd paid for the ride…but I was reaching for straws.
By now a mere habit, the creature chewed monotonously.
For an artist, value is a very important dimension.
Each flavor comes in three "colors," red, green, and blue.
A pressure cooker done up with a red ribbon would have left them happy. But not you, you go on flying.
Under the wine I lost the disgusted feeling and was happy. It seemed they were all such nice people.
Some book reviewer whose name I forget recently called me a "vicious misanthrope"…or maybe it was a "cynical misanthrope"…but either way, he (or she) was right.
They were right.
Misanthrope. Noun. A person who hates or distrusts all people.
I never used to realize it, I guess. I try and play it along and just not make trouble for people.
For anyone.
Probably I never would have had any trouble if I hadn't run into Brett when they shipped me. I suppose she only wanted what she couldn't have. Well, people were that way. To hell with people. The Catholic Church had an awfully good way of handling that. Good advice, anyway. Not to think about it. Oh, that was swell advice. Try and take it sometime. Try and take it.
To tell the truth, we have not yet cast off that humiliation. But the wheel turns.
The world was a good place to buy in. It seemed like a fine philosophy. In five years, I thought, it will seem just as silly as all the other fine philosophies I've had.
Then what shall we say to their observance
of the time and the place
in which the actions they represent
are supposed to have happened?
It seemed to him that the atoms of his brain
and the atoms of the cosmos
were streaming
through each other
Jump
Jump to another weird sick disappointment
Just coming over the horizon
Just jump
Writing a reformed cliche or expression
He recalled now the same low voices,
the same relaxed, very diverse
but coordinated actions
the same rising
exultant
expectancy
as the count grew
ever smaller
a deeply carved, impassable gorge
occasionally exists
between
"should" and "is"
70’s Chevy Pickup in a slanted sheet-metal garage,
rusted out wheelbarrows brimming with rainwater
more bacteria than all the souls covering the earth

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "…the world is a fine place and worth fighting for."
I agree with the second part.
"The food is yours.
It's not a trick.
I'm not going to take it away at the last second.
You know…I…uh…I'm just going to talk…
Right now…
And I don't expect you to say anything…"

DESCRIBED BELOW
I wish I could find the words,
The images,
The sounds,
The way a breeze recalls summer
I wish I could make manifest my map:
Map of an Aesthetic Moment.
This time I won't let the Art of Conversation slip me by,
I have been practicing, I promise.
Your powers of observation continue to serve you well…
It's all part of The Plan.
And like that, he's gone…
And she screamed:
"Life is beautiful!"
Are you sure?
Are you completely sure?
And now for something completely different:
RON: Nancy's joining me because the message this evening is not my message, but ours.
Despite our best efforts, shortages of marijuana are now being reported.
From the early days of our administration, Nancy has been using marijuana on a daily basis, and her personal observations and efforts have given her such dramatic insights that I wanted her to share them with you this evening.
NANCY:
I yearn to find a way to help share the message,
Drugs open your eyes to life,
To see it in the vivid colors
That god gave us as a precious gift
To his children.
RON:
And drug abuse is not a crime.
Drugs and excessive alcohol
Are used by former Attorney General Meese.
NANCY:
Drugs help us create love, hope, trust, and confidence.
RON:
Being friends to others is the best way of being
Friends to ourselves.
NANCY:
It's up to us to change attitudes
And
Just simply enjoy life to the fullest.
RON:
And in the most important area,
Individual Use,
We see progress.
The U.S. Military has more than tripled the use of drugs
Among its personnel since 1980.
Tonight,
I can report to you that Vice President Bush smokes marijuana...
Regularly.
And there's one more thing…
Nancy and I are…
Hooked on heroin.
NANCY:
Each of us was once strung out on several drugs.
RON:
Here in the White House,
Drugs are a constant temptation.
But,
We still have much to do.
Our goal is to expand drug trafficking,
At all levels of Government
And in the Private Sector.
Help us.
"…soil of a lost world
…seeds in the dead...
…now it seems we may have planted…"

See through a glass

Are your drugs for life, or just for boredom?
Do they distort time, or give you more than you ever had?
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
It's never been that clear to me, yet still I can turn on and see the end.
The end's not real.
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
